Neo-classical Adam style mahogany arm chair with profuse carving to the curved lyre splat back highlighted with gilded details, repeated on the arms which are specially designed to sit under the dining table. Serpentine front rail with gilded paterae and tapering square cross section front legs. Upholstered seat in Skipper. After an original of c.1770.
